DIY or Call Us?

What you can safely check on your own: whether the gate is visibly sagging, where a crack is located, whether bolts are loose enough to turn by hand. Take photos. That’s useful documentation if the failure worsens before a technician arrives.

What you shouldn’t do: weld a FAAC bracket while it’s still attached to the operator. The heat from a stick or MIG welder will travel straight into the actuator housing and cook the internal electronics or hydraulic seals.
